A rather elite subculture that art world
I have this little yellow sticky note ~ that says finish it with a list of to do tasks ... better get it done"sigh" pasted on the monitor...
little snippet of random writing ....
Sequestered in a room filled with colors of blue, shades of green and warm earthy tones…comforting
You speak and no words are expelled
Sleep blissful sleep eludes me
Time lost Time consumed
Time never recovered
so much, so little
oxymoron
Words drift, float, swirl around just out of reach
brushing past my fingertips
never reaching my lips
Unspoken random colorful words
A word spoken forced up past the larynx
cannot be taken back
like a puff of air on a frosty night as it drifts
slowly almost lazy under the cold gaze of
the twinkling planets that light the dark sky
No creative thought provoking
truly inspiring word
Why this random writing
Words pass the time
Somewhere in the folds of the pale grey matter
in the deep abyss of my mind
Lies a picture
Between the right and left hemispheres
Creative analytical
Synapses electrically charged particles of energy
neurons fire back and forth
some misfiring
discord harmony
negative positive
Neurons crackle and axons pop
within the small confines of the dark space
unable to course out
imprisoned within
until finally able to break free
as they travel outward upward …into the open space,,,,
The question why do people not come forward and speak with police.
Culture is a major factor and if one self identifies with a class or a sub-culture and has witnessed a crime reluctance and fear of rejection from the herd will deter people from coming forward.
Take the police for example one bad apple does something wrong but the whole police force will protect the herd regardless of the situation and the code of silence applies.
Young children today within the education system are taught from an early age do not get involved if they see something go tell a teacher or walk away, stay away from social drama gossip and that conditioning process is difficult to override.
Some fear reprisal if it is gang or drug related because of the resources available to the criminal element’s ability to inflict harm.
Police and the legal system in general are perceived as corrupt and media has reinforced this belief held by the lower layers of society and often fails to protect the poverty class or working class individuals.
A negative personal experience with the police or legal system is another deciding factor in people being reluctant to come forward with possible information.
Culture and conditioning is something so deeply embedded into a person that it is difficult to override us against them that collective mindset of people.
The last point is there is general apathy that exists within mainstream belief why should I waste my time or care, as it is not me or mine…

In the past people had freedom of movement
and as we all were hunter/ gatherers humans migrated to greener pastures as food sources and water became scarce.
Today we have checkpoints, borders, and restrictions that will not permit the people to migrate to other areas as natural resources become scarce.
The comments posted are a reflection of uneducated masses in as they spout their self-righteous views of a reality they know nothing about and the propaganda machine is very effective.
Borders are designed to restrict the freedom of movement and control the people…to ensure the viability of a country’s economic and social stability, plans that are based, on political dogma, bureaucratic greed, not what nature decrees is necessary for the survival of the masses.
Borders create barriers and barriers create conflict and exacerbate the misery and suffering of the masses.
In today’s global economy, there is no reason why any person should go hungry or suffer the ills poverty engenders.
A legal system is only as good as the money in your pocket and the knowledge in your head. I have to quit using spell check and redial
Change the culture, change the mindset, and change the people
If we ended poverty tomorrow which could be done with the stroke of a pen by the various levels of government (it is not as complex as we are led to believe)...where would all the displaced employed people go...as their services would no longer be required. Much like the auto industry, we cannot have all these people unemployed hence the bail out... Therefore, I understand what the thread of discussion is...I have never had a lawyer in poverty law take on a case for me..On the other hand, those I know personally have experienced the same...we for the most part have been forced to do for ourselves in many areas...and get kicked down one more time for attempting to escape the poverty class and I don`t belong here …but due to circumstances beyond my control here I sit..and without a family doctor or a doctor willing to fill out forms a person is caught on OW and expected to meet all the qualifiers for a meager existence. How can anyone ever think that to remove a child from th...
